Extra-Curricular Activities: There is a strong bias for spiritual activities. We also undertake excursion every term

Spiritual Support

There is no other foundation laid except the one laid by our Lord Jesus Christ” on this The Ambassador College base her existence.

prayingWe have standby teachers who are spiritually balanced to see to our young ambassador's spiritual needs.

The students have spiritual parents who are teachers, who pray, admonished, advice and encourage the children under their care.

We believe that with God there is no mountain too high, no valley too deep that we cannot summont. As a result, both the ambassador's staff and students observe prayer and fast programmes monthly.

Also, our students are given spiritual exercise by observing vigil once a month in the hostel.

Sport and Recreation

playing basketballAs it is known that sports and exercise develop human beings mentally, emotionally and physically, the school has put a lot of efforts on various recreational activities and sport. Presently the facilities that are present both in school and hostel include: A standard volleyball court, Basketball pitch, and table tennis court, which the student are making use of at their leisure time.

Since all work and no play make Jack a dull boy, its then advisable to make use of the leisure time wisely and to involve oneself in good recreational activities.

The school has still not relented in its effort to provide more facilities at its permanent site.

Excursion

Olumo RockAn old Chinese adage says; what I hear, I forget, what I see, I remember, what I do, I know.  In view of this, The Ambassadors College students have had cause to go on excursion at several times in the past and are bound to yet undertake such trips in future.

Normally in the teaching / learning process, a time comes when a teacher deems it fit that a particular topic or aspect of a topic can be better impressed upon the students minds if they can be taken on a trip to actually see, touch and possibly demonstrate the workings of a machine, a mechanical process, a manufacturing procedure a natural phenomenon and so on.

Thus, the Ambassador College students have  gone on excursion to Loveleen Plastics, Olumo Rock, Atan-Iju Water Works, Sango-Ota main Abattoir, Sona Breweries, Aluminium Rolling Mills Ota, Whispering Palms to mention but a few.

It is hoped that in our quest to give the students the very best of learning experience they will still make more trips to places of relevance in times to come.
