2009/2010 Admission

The admission process for our 2009/2010 session is in progress. Our entrance examination for new intakes into JSS 1,2 and SS 1,2 and transferring students are still in progress.

Admission Procedure

The admission process is in two parts namely; Fresh and transferring students. Prospective students are required to obtain and complete an application form on our website or obtain one directly from the school at our address shown above. Fully completed application form must be returned to the school's principal with the necessary requirements.

Fresh Admission entails a competitive entrance examination in English, Mathematics and General Paper. Short listed candidates are orally interviewed with their parents in attendance before final admission. The first entrance examination holds in May each year.

Transferring students from other secondary schools are tested in English, Mathematics and General paper as the case may be. Transferring students are required to submit the following documents with their application form:

  1. A transfer certificate from the former school.
  2. Transcripts / academic records.
  3. Medical certificate of fitness.

Registration

Students who succeed in both the written entrance examination and oral interviews are offered admission and are required to pay a specified amount of money as acceptance fee in order to be regarded as bona fide students if they are fresh students.

Transferring students who succeed in the written examinations and oral interview are offered admission and are expected to pay up the school fees immediately.

Payment of Fees

All fees must be paid before the commencement of every term. New students’ fees are to be paid latest two weeks after the issuance of admission. Students who wish to reside in the hostel are required to indicate same on the admission form. In all, payments must be completed before resumption of the school.
